* 173.) The O'Jays

* 174.) Duran Duran

* 175.) Linda Ronstadt

* 176.) Randy Newman

* 177.) Little Willie John

Pretty much everyone is safe. Their influence can be heard in most today's music, yet it's often overlooked as it's well-known.

7th: Sure Picks & Decent Artists

* 178.) Joan Baez

* 179.) Alice Cooper

* 180.) Jackson Browne

* 181.) Solomon Burke

* 183.) Hall & Oates

* 206.) Bill Withers

* 207.) Little Anthony & The Imperials

* 208.) Duane Eddy

* 209.) Brenda Lee

* 210.) Buffalo Springfield

Honestly, I have no problem with any of the selections here. They sure have albums & songs general public knows, however the impact they had pretty much lands in most contemporaries & associates in one place than everyone else.

8th: Close Calls

* 211.) Righteous Brothers

* 212.) Def Leppard

* 213.) Jeff Beck

* 214.) The Mamas & The Papas

* 215.) Chicago

* 216.) The Flamingos

* 217.) The Moody Blues

* 218.) The Ventures

They're almost close to the borderline scale. Very somewhat middle of the road picks, it's just they're not completely remarkable. Still not lackluster though!

9th: 50/50

* 219.) Cher

* 220.) The Doobie Brothers

* 221.) Frankie Lymon & The Teenagers

* 222.) The Moonglows

* 223.) Jimmy Cliff

* 224.) Cat Stevens (Yusuf Islam)

* 225.) Pat Benatar

* 226.) Ritchie Valens

* 227.) Lavern Baker

* 228.) The Dave Clark Five

* 229.) The Zombies

* 230.) The Dells

* 231.) Dire Straits

* 232.) Dave Matthews Band

* 233.) Peter Frampton

* 234.) Electric Light Orchestra

* 235.) Lionel Richie

* 236.) Carly Simon

* 237.) Sheryl Crow

* 238.) Del Shannon

* 239.) Joan Jett & The Blackhearts

Apparently not everyone on this portion could be Dylan & The Fab Four no matter how much you did during your primetime. There's nothing groundbreaking & revolutionary about them other than a few things. They had great careers, yet their overall resumes seems very borderline.

10th: Marginal Cases

* 240.) Bobby Darin

* 241.) Lloyd Price

* 242.) The (Young) Rascals

* 243.) Gene Pitney

* 244.) Dr. John

* 245.) Bon Jovi

* 246.) Journey

* 247.) The 'Lovin Spoonful

* 248.) Foreigner

Sure they're very popular & became phenomenons in one fashion or another, though it doesn't indicate they changed music. Like can anybody name their albums that transcend the entire industry.

11th: WTF

* 249.) Laura Nyro

* 250.) The Hollies

* 251.) Steve Miller Band

* 252.) Stevie Nicks

It's very insane artists like them were honored due to various reasons that has nothing to do with the criteria & it seems pretty strange.
There's definitely biggest snubs who would've taken their place given the credentials. Unfortunately none of them are true game changers sufficient to say regardless of fandom.

12th: Forgotten Honorees

* 253.) The Paul Butterfield Blues Band

* 254.) Darlene Love

* 255.) Percy Sledge

In the grand scheme of things, the ones being placed last are rarely mentioned in discussions of rock & roll history. They have some moments in the sun, however only time will & it won't change anytime soon. And the fact they're nominated & inducted out of nowhere proves that some people could get it based on participation, lobbying & sentimentality rather than solid impact & real significance thus is why it cheapens the award than make it an true honor. That's somewhat ridiculous to put it bluntly.

In addition, I'll be giving a nod to artists who were nominated as performers yet ended up getting backdoored. So here's it is.

Kraftwerk: 4th

LL Cool J: 5th

MC5 & Judas Priest: 6th

Chaka Khan: 7th

Dionne Warwick: 8th

Well that's the end of the rankings. Pretty accurate to say the least.
