RRHOF inductee ratings & observations #11

Back at it again with ratings & observations, this time we're looking at 2015! Let's start.

Number Ratings:
10/10 = Immortals, Icons & Legends
9/10 = All Time Greats
8/10 = No Brainers
7/10 = Proven Performers
6/10 = Best of the Rest
5/10 = Average/Borderline
4/10 = Marginal
3/10 = Mediocre
2/10 = Not even worth mentioning
1/10 = Not deserving without a ticket
0/10 = 💣

Performers:

The Paul Butterfield Blues Band

3/10

I can't find anything remarkable about them other than they have associated with the Chicago blues scene, they're good but nowhere near as the ones that came to define or own the decades.

Joan Jett & The Blackhearts

5/10

Really well - known band but really don't stand out like the other bands that came to define the 80's & beyond. Joan should have been inducted with The Runways instead.

Green Day

9/10

Not a big fan but I can't deny their impact on the 90's alternative rock, they pretty much took punk to mainstream along with other acts. They have albums & songs that stood the test of time.

Lou Reed

8/10

If it weren't for him & The Velvet Underground then pretty much it wouldn't be no Alternative Rock & it's sub genres, they were among one of the most important bands but Lou as solo artist is as remarkable as he evolved throughout.

SRV & Double Trouble

7/10

A great musician his own right, he's the ultimate guitar hero. Even though his life & career was cut short, he left a unique legacy as his skills & showmanship made him become a legend & he brought back the blues as he become one of them that brought it to mainstream.

Bill Withers

6/10

He's cool but I can't put him on the same level as the ones that are inducted before him based on influence & innovation alone.

Pretty memorable class especially an all star jam.
