30 most ridiculous Rock & Roll Hall of Fame snubs  Today's list would be the biggest Rock & Roll Hall of Fame snubs that needed to be corrected. For this, I'll be focusing on artists who are eligible yet still on the outside waiting for their call.  1. Diana Ross: DR would be the 4th woman to receive the 2nd induction since her solo work is just remarkable as her with the Supremes.  2. Sonic Youth: A band who made indie rock an legitimate art form in the 80's, Sonic Youth are definitely the "Velvet Underground" in the decade based on "influence than sales" caliber. They probably would be nominated but won't get voted in.  3. Pixies: Same reason as Sonic Youth except they could get voted in. They're an act whose influence remains at large on 90's alternative rock scene with bands including Nirvana, Radiohead, Smashing Pumpkins & others giving their credit.  4. Rock & Roll Hall of Fame 2026: A somewhat remarkable class for mostly everyone.  It's not a doubt that the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in their 40 years of existence continues to truly honor what's called rock & roll history and to give artists a recognition they need for changing it's course regardless of their sounds & backgrounds. It's not perfect though they know what they're doing.  Here's a little lesson for those who never understand music at all: Rock & Roll is never based on any styles or instruments, it's a vibe representing spirit, evolution, attitude & diversity that makes a definition of the term. Take a look at the first two classes & you'll understand it's not about one genre.  Let's also not forget: Rock & Roll isn't about commerce, never was never will. Rock & Roll Hall of Fame inductee rankings.  Today I'll be ranking the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame inductees from most to less important. Rock & Roll Hall of Fame 2026: The newest ballot yet.  Realistically, there's not a doubt that over 40 years of existence, the Hall continues to recognize and honor the entire history of rock & roll in many different methods. Whether people hate it or not, you must acknowledged that rock and roll isn't all white dudes playing guitar solos, pounding drums and screaming banshees.  R&R isn't defined by any genres nor instruments, it's a vibe that represents spirit, evolution, attitude and diversity which is a true definition of the term. That's how the RRHOF welcomed artists in all walks of life on earth regardless of their backgrounds and will continue to do so. Finally, popularity such as sales, fandom & hit records doesn't demonstrate every performer's greatness since it doesn't indicate anything other than people liking them for a short period which doesn't last long. Rock & Roll Hall of Fame 2026: Who would finally have their call to recognition.  It's official: We finally reached 40 years of endless ceremonies, iconic performances & incredible highlights that wouldn't be forgotten. The Rock & Roll Hall of Fame isn't always perfect, heck that place doesn't need to be. It has one mission: To honor music history & artists who made it happened with their body of work, that's what it's there for.  They have another mission as well: Being more inclusive with their selections. The Hall is no stranger to controversy surrounding their process. There's a plethora of individuals out there that still couldn't accept the fact that rock & roll isn't white dudes playing guitar solos. The Rock & Roll Hall of Fame elimination: Which inductees would go or stay.  It's a hard process to do, yet it has to be done. We all have our favorites that should be in the RRHOF for being there for their fans & audiences throughout history, yet nobody deserves nor would get it due to various reasons.  Then there's others who already got inducted that literally don't belong. Sure their supporters will say they deserved it for being the biggest sellers or considered as fan favorites. Never realized it takes more to earn induction than records & tickets being sold and scored fans.  Thus is how this process is made. I'll be judging inductees in terms of influence, innovation, impact & originality.
