RRHOF inductee ratings & observations #30

RRHOF inductee ratings & observations #30

I'm back once again with ratings & observations on Class of 2009.

Ratings:
10/10 = Legends & Icons
9/10 = All Time Greats
8/10 = No Brainers
7/10 = Proven Performers
6/10 = Best of the Rest
5/10 = Average/Borderline
4/10 = Marginal
3/10 = Mediocre
2/10 = Not even worth mentioning
1/10 = Not deserving without a ticket
0/10 = 💣

Performers:

Jeff Beck

7/10

Among the most important guitarists in history, Jeff Beck's unique & improvisation style while expanding other genres made him one of the greats. What's hurting him is his solo discography hadn't always stood the test of time nevertheless he accomplished everything by being in the level of Hendrix & others.

Little Anthony & The Imperials

7/10

LA & The Imperials were a part of an early R&B movement scoring big hit, they were able to reach influence & impact even though they're not the biggest name.

Metallica

10/10

Metal went to mainstream even further all thanks to Metallica, they were one of the big 4 who defined thrash metal in the 80's before becoming bigger stars in the 90's with their self titled black album. Nevertheless, the guys remain as one of the most influential bands in music.

Run - DMC

10/10

They brought hip hop to masses, Run DMC released some first essential recordings for the genre while they reached crossover success with Aerosmith for Walk This Way.

Bobby Womack

7/10

An accomplished songwriter in R&B history while releasing catalog of work, might not be the biggest figure in the genre but he's certainly among the most recognizable figures.

When you have two biggest artists in the 80's & beyond, then the class itself isn't bad.
