Alright I'm back & this is the 2020 induction class. Y'all obviously know what I'm doing so let's go. 

Ratings: 

10/10 = Legends & Icons 
9/10 = All Time Greats 
8/10 = No Brainers 
7/10 = Proven Performers 
6/10 = Best of the Rest 
5/10 = Borderline 
4/10 = Marginal 
3/10 = Mediocre 
2/10 = Not even worth of debate 
1/10 = Not even worth of mention 
0/10 = 💣 

Performers:

Depeche Mode 

8/10 

DM are definitely important but they're nowhere near as the "creme of the crop" of the 80's, nevertheless they were decade defining & have influenced artists in the 90's.

The Doobie Brothers 

6/10 

A pretty good "if not great" band that made timeless tunes that are still classics to this day, but they're nowhere near as the best when it comes to "creativity" influence & innovation however doesn't mean they aren't bad.

Whitney Houston 

9/10 

Houston is still among the most important singers of all time, her voice had inspired female artists like Alicia Keys & Beyonce for doing the same thing & she sold a lot of records worldwide. A global icon along with Prince, Michael Jackson & others.

Nine Inch Nails 

9/10 

NIN became among the bands in the 90's who definitely put industrial on the map while also influenced countless artists including Marilyn Manson to Lil Nas X. Trent Renzor & Atticus Ross recently became two of the most well-known composers!

The Notorious B.I.G 

8/10 

Probably one of the greatest rappers of all time, Despite his short life & career his songs became the examples of how much life can be easy & hard. His sound inspired numerous young rappers all around.

T. Rex 

8/10 

T. Rex were what they mean to Glam as The Beatles were to Rock & Pop. Like the fab four, they paved the way for the genre while also influencing countless artists of multiple sounds while having less popularity in America. Their legacy can't be overstated.

The class is pretty interesting even though it happened at the wrong time because of covid.

Rock & Roll Hall of Fame 2025: Biggest bang yet!  Earlier this year, the Cleveland based Rock & Roll Hall of Fame had announced it's class of 2024 into the hallowed institution. A mix list of artists stemming from R&B/Soul to Heavy Metal/Classic Rock to Contemporary Pop etc. It's also one of those classes where it becomes more populist & quantify which is something the Hall isn't there for when it comes to recognition. Then came the ceremony & aside from incredible inductions from few artists, the show was very dull!  For the purists/fanatics who are still complaining about "non rock" acts being inducted & demanding the name change of the museum, get used to the fact that the term "rock & roll" isn't about style & genre. Final review of who will get honored into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame class of 2025.

Final review of who will be making into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame class of 2025.  In retrospect, the powers behind this whole institution (famous yet infamous) Rock & Roll Hall of Fame never disappoints how they choose certain artists for induction while being responsible for bringing evolution, attitude, diversity & spirit into the mix.  Because rock & roll isn't a color nor based on genre & sound, it's a union that is part of history. Although it doesn't cease to amaze me that so many rock individuals despise the Hall even though it's not their personal jukebox nor record collection. (I mean fanaticism & ignorance are at an all time high.)  Finally, the Hall isn't there to reward artists for being popular with fans & audiences, it's to recognize the sesmic impact being caused in music industry whereas the trajectory of rock & roll changes throughout. RRHOF biggest snubs!

30 Biggest Rock & Roll Hall of Fame snubs  Today's list would be the biggest Rock & Roll Hall of Fame snubs that needed to be corrected. For this, I'll be focusing on artists who are eligible, but not nominated or inducted although have been on the ballot before.  1. Joy Division/New Order: Considered as post punk/new wave leaders, Joy Division/New Order were a big influence to their contemporaries & later artists who were inductees themselves.  2. Diana Ross: DR would be the 4th woman to receive the 2nd induction since her solo work is just remarkable as her with the Supremes.  3. OutKast: The duo who pushed Southern rap into mainstream with their albums Stankonia & Speakerboxx/The Love Below making OutKast as one of the most important artists during the 00's.  4.
