Alice Cooper 

7/10 

An artist & band established themselves as forces in hard rock with albums Love it to Death, Billion Dollar Babies & School's Out, later cementing the singer as "The Godfather of Shock Rock, creating new style & showmanship. The influence would be felt in such artists as Kiss, Rob Zombie & Marilyn Manson. 

Neil Diamond: 7/10 

Diamond is considered as one of the most successful songwriters of all time with such classics that would be in tv & movies plus multiple events in pop culture. He might not be groundbreaking but he's definitely a proven performer. 

Dr. John 

5/10 

Dr. John was a figure of New Orleans scene, showcasing the musical history of the city, however he doesn't have albums that were considered as landmarks in rock & roll. 

Darlene Love 

3/10 

DL is regarded as one of most important singers of all time, although she lacked the induction criteria due to her being a backup singer most of the time. 

Tom Waits 

9/10 

Most artists don't sell many records & have hits during their careers but they were cult icons, Tom Waits is among them. His innovations & expiremental tendencies with albums Rain Dogs gave birth to indie music. His evolving sound would be an influence to artists of the genre & alternative music. 

Pretty underwhelming class even though there's only one that stood out the most.

Final review of who will be making into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame class of 2025.  In retrospect, the powers behind this whole institution (famous yet infamous) Rock & Roll Hall of Fame never disappoints how they choose certain artists for induction while being responsible for bringing evolution, attitude, diversity & spirit into the mix.  Because rock & roll isn't a color nor based on genre & sound, it's a union that is part of history. Although it doesn't cease to amaze me that so many rock individuals despise the Hall even though it's not their personal jukebox nor record collection. (I mean fanaticism & ignorance are at an all time high.)  Finally, the Hall isn't there to reward artists for being popular with fans & audiences, it's to recognize the sesmic impact being caused in music industry whereas the trajectory of rock & roll changes throughout. RRHOF 2025: Biggest bang yet!

Rock & Roll Hall of Fame 2025: Biggest bang yet!  Earlier this year, the Cleveland based Rock & Roll Hall of Fame had announced it's class of 2024 into the hallowed institution. A mix list of artists stemming from R&B/Soul to Heavy Metal/Classic Rock to Contemporary Pop etc. It's also one of those classes where it becomes more populist & quantify which is something the Hall isn't there for when it comes to recognition. Then came the ceremony & aside from incredible inductions from few artists, the show was very dull!  For the purists/fanatics who are still complaining about "non rock" acts being inducted & demanding the name change of the museum, get used to the fact that the term "rock & roll" isn't about style & genre. Rock & Roll Hall of Fame newest inductee rankings  Today I'll be ranking the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame inductees. For this I'll be putting inductees as performers in several group tiers in terms of the Hall's criteria: influence, innovation & originality. Beginning with a creme of the crop! The Pioneers  * 1.) Chuck Berry * 2.) Little Richard * 3.) Elvis Presley The concept of rock & roll starts with the creators by inventing the term with spirit, attitude, diversity & evolution. Without them, the whole development wouldn't exist.  The Greatest of All Generations  *  4.) The Beatles *  5.) Bob Dylan *  6.) James Brown & The Famous Flames  Zero arguments: These three honorary artists proved that rock & roll or music in general can be everything in the entire world from artistic integrity to historic resonance.
